Fellow Philosophers,

Sending a special Saturday version of our Weekend Roundup since we got a day behind with American Thanksgiving.

A quick recap of this series, we studied 4 core elements of 7 major philosophical traditions and thinkers:

  1. Epistemology: Theories of how we acquire knowledge (ie revelation, reflection, observation etc.)

  2. Ontology: The object of study (ie god, the self, reality etc.)

  3. Ethics: What was good and why

  4. Greatest Work: Only my opinion, feel free to comment!

These elements help us to quickly understand a lot of information in a meaningful way.

Plus, now when you visit your family for the holidays you can confidently say things like “epistemic” or “ontological” and everyone will be impressed. You’re welcome.

I’ll post a short summary with links to the newsletters below, most of them have audio recordings so feel free to catch up and listen to one that interests you!
