Friends,
I am taking a break from writing this week in preparation for our June series on the Philosophy of Design.
To say I’m excited about next month would be an understatement!
And in perfect timing, a podcast I recently recorded with Daniel Grochowski at Five and Fly came out this week and I wanted to share.
Five and Fly is a growing organization that specifically supports military veterans as they transition from active duty to civilian careers.
In this episode, we discuss my why for the leaving the Army, my journey out of fundamentalism, and uncover how the mantra “How do I feel, what do I want” has changed my life.
We also discuss my day job in ESG investing and sustainability, as well as how philosophy creates a framework to take risks, try new things, and discover new levels happiness in life.
If you find yourself seeking purpose, working on your own happiness, navigating career, or facing an upcoming life change this episode is for you.
I hope you see yourself in these stories and find solidarity.
Especially this week, don’t hesitate to reach out if I can offer peer feedback on career, if you have questions about philosophy, or you just need someone to discuss life with.
See you all next week,
Matt
